What exactly does Emma do?
Emma sings and plays acoustic guitar at wedding ceremonies and at the canapé reception afterwards.
Emma’s voice is naturally melodically sweet, usually setting a very light relaxed environments for this part of your special day.
For religious ceremonies, Emma provides music for the church wedding and canape reception afterwards, if taking place
Emma comes fully equipped with her own P.A. System.
Do you play outdoors?
For outdoor weddings Emma will require electricity to be provided for her equipment.
In any chance of rain Emma will require 2 large umbrellas to protect her equipment and her from the forces of nature.
Tell me more about the songs Emma will sing for my wedding?
Picking songs that are relevant and memorable to each individual couple is extremely important, in order to individualise your special day even further.
If required, Emma can provide her assistance in helping the couple choose songs dedicated to their special day
Emma is happy to learn new songs for each ceremony if song requests happen to not already be in her repertoire.
The setlist must be finalised maximum one month before the wedding. Note that this leaves Emma time to perfect your songs as much as possible.
Please note that it is the couple’s responsibility to get all songs approved by your celebrant or priest in a reasonable time frame prior to your wedding (in order to avoid any hiccups on the day.)
Where is Emma based and is she willing to travel?
Emma is based in Prahran, Melbourne and is willing to travel.
If travelling greater than 30km from Prahran, travel expenses will incur.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a 25% deposit is required to save your date. Once paid, your wedding date will secured by Emma by confirmation email.
Deposits are non-refundable.
How do I pay the balance?
You have two options for payment:
a) CASH on the day of the wedding prior to the performance
b) DIRECT DEPOSIT payable to the selected bank account. Payment must reach the bank account before the day of the wedding.
What additional costs if any, are likely?
If more than one set up of equipment is required, this may incur an extra charge i.e If your ceremony and reception are in different venues and you require Emma to sing at both.
If Emma needs to travel greater than 30km from Prahran, some travel expenses will incur.
